Your Surgery Education
Mandatory Education For Your Surgery
Once you and your doctor have agreed to proceed with surgery, you are required to complete some educational training. This training is designed to help you better understand what surgery means for you and what to expect in both the short term and the long term.
These educational videos have been produced by the WRHA (Winnipeg Regional Health Authority) and are intended to support you on your journey to a better quality of life. Please watch the videos that apply to your specific surgical needs.
Once you have finished watching the videos, remember to notify your doctor’s office, as this step is required before you can be placed on the surgical wait list.
*Note – You will not be placed on the surgical wait list until your doctors office is notified you are done with the educational training. It is very important these steps are followed.
