For clinic appointments, bring your photo ID, insurance card, and appointment information. An up-to-date medication list is important, as well as any questions you would like to discuss with your provider.<\/p>

Wear comfortable clothing that allows easy access to your hip or knee, along with supportive footwear. If you were asked to bring imaging, reports, or medical records, please have those available at check-in.<\/p>

You may wish to bring a phone or notebook to take notes during your visit. A family member or friend is welcome to accompany you if additional support is helpful.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

What To Bring To Surgery Day<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Preparing for surgery is easier when you know what to expect. On the day of your procedure, please bring a photo ID, insurance card, and any paperwork provided by your care team. You should also have a current list of your medications and allergies, along with emergency contact information.<\/p>

Wear loose, comfortable clothing to go home in. Elastic waistbands, shorts, or wide-leg pants work well, along with non-slip or slip-on shoes and socks. A light sweater or robe is helpful, as hospital areas can feel cool.<\/p>

Pack a small overnight bag with personal items such as a toothbrush, deodorant, lip balm, and any glasses or hearing aids with their cases. If you were instructed to bring assistive devices\u2014such as a walker, cane, brace, or support\u2014please bring those with you.<\/p>

You may also want your phone, a long charging cable, and headphones. Many patients find it helpful to bring a small notebook and pen to write down instructions after surgery.<\/p>
